SmartRoads was the first CAD package that allowed vehicles to be damaged, and SmartRoads is still alone* on the market in allowing users to damage vehicles.

Damaging vehicles to scale

SmartRoads is the only product anywhere that allows users to change the vehicle profile in 2D and 3D and illustrate the damage profile. This is accomplished via an ingenious interface in which users can use your mouse and move vertices which display the crush relative to the un deformed perimeter of the vehicle. Vehicles can be damaged precisely to Total Station or hand measurements.
