Snaps

one button turns on the "Snaps " tool which will then allow you to snap lines and other drawing shapes to midpoints, end points, circle centers, measurement point centers and any vertex. With SmartRoads snapping means snapping to X,Y.

Smart Drawing Shapes - SmartObjects

convert any drawing shape into a precise 3D drawing shape like traffic cones, barrels, guard rails, chain link fences, railway tracks, no post concrete guard rails, etc. Each of these shapes allows precision editing under Properties on the right click menu.

Add Parallel lines, arcs, polycurves

SmartRoads allows you to draw one line, arc, or polycurve - then right click to " Add Parallel " and SmartRoads asks you the distance from the original. Simply enter the distance and the new line, arc, or poly appears. In the case of the 3 point arc or polycurve, the change in radius is calculated to make the positioning of roadway lines easy.

Title blocks

choose your title block, enter the header info and it auto-fits and auto-scales to your drawing at print time
